The aluminium tubing with patented bolt-on cross brace (rather than welded) is much stronger and significantly lighter than welded steel bars. It is manufactured from 7000 aluminium,corrosion-resist shot-peened and anodized for an ant surface, and has a laser-etched positioning grid for easy set- from high-strength.
